This lesson is intended for intermediate and upper-intermediate level students, and should take about 1.5 hrs to complete. This is primarily a speaking class, although it features Simon Sinek’s TED Talk as a listening text during the second half. The lesson is comprised of the embedded Microsoft Word document below, which is pretty self-explanatory. I used the document projected on an overhead to guide my class. Vocabulary
I found it very helpful to pre-teach the vocabulary contained in this PPT. Even just a short introduction was helpful, particularly when I drew the students’ attention to the “diffusion” slide. By doing this, I helped them follow the video easily and ensured a colorful debate afterward.
